07Objections
How many tags can a SKU have?
No hard cap. We've seen tenants run 30+ tags on hero SKUs without issue. The UI starts truncating the chip row past eight — the rest sit behind a +N popover.
Can I un-tag in bulk?
Yes. The same CSV format works in reverse — set mode=remove on the upload and Sellerbud strips matching ASIN+tag pairs. Auto-tag rules can be paused or deleted; deleting a rule does not retroactively un-tag historical SKUs.
Do tags slow down reports?
No. Tags are indexed at write-time on the tenant_marketplace_products and tenant_marketplace_orders collections. Filtering profitability by a tag is the same query cost as filtering by marketplace.
Can I share tag taxonomies with my team?
Tags are tenant-scoped, so every teammate on your Sellerbud workspace sees the same tags. Role-based edit permissions land in v2 — for now, view is global and edit requires the Admin or Ops role.
Do tags sync with Amazon Seller Central?
No — Amazon has no concept of seller-defined tags. Sellerbud tags live in our database and are joined to Seller Central data on the way out. If you delete a SKU from Seller Central, the tags stay on the Sellerbud-side product record until you remove it.
Can a tag combine a rule AND manual pins?
Yes — Hybrid tags let you ship a rule, then pin specific SKUs in or out. Useful when you want 'top-20 by margin, but never the BD-only bundles'.
