The real number. Per SKU. Per Rupee.
Amazon shows you revenue. Sellerbud shows you what survived. Every fee, refund, return and ad rupee netted out — to the paisa.
- →Net margin at marketplace + month level; gross profit everywhere else
- →Drill from marketplace down to a single child ASIN
- →COGS via CSV upload or manual entry
01What goes in
Six inputs. One honest number.
Most “profitability tools” stop at revenue minus fees. Sellerbud goes the rest of the way — including the costs you actually paid to source, ship, advertise and refund every unit.
Revenue & settlements
Pulled from SP-API every 15 minutes. Settlement matched to the penny — reconciled against the 14-day report on close.
Amazon fees
Referral, FBA, storage, removal, returns processing — itemised, attributed back to the order and SKU that incurred them.
COGS
Per-unit landed cost from CSV upload or manual entry. Effective-date-aware — old orders stay costed at the old price.
Ad spend
Ad API pulls SP, SB and SD spend daily. Aggregated at marketplace level — only allocatable to net margin where ad campaigns are attributable.
Returns & reimbursements
Refund chains, lost-in-warehouse claims, customer-damaged returns, and the reimbursements you should have caught. All netted in.
Custom adjustments
Promotions, coupons, third-party logistics, agency retainers. Anything off-Amazon that touches a SKU — model it once, it flows everywhere.
02Drill-down
Drill through your own taxonomy.
Net margin tells the truth at marketplace level — that's where ads and overhead can be allocated honestly. Below it we show gross profit (revenue − COGS − fees − returns) so the numbers stay accurate the deeper you drill.

Gross profit by ship-to state. Gross profit
Same view as your store dashboard — break gross profit down by Indian state. Spot where freight eats margin, where returns spike, where a regional ad push is worth the budget.

07Proof
Operators who run on it.
We thought our oak diffuser was our hero product. After two months on Sellerbud we realised the wax melt — a sleepy SKU we almost discontinued — was paying for half the team. We doubled its ad spend and cut a hero we'd been bleeding on. Net margin up 4.2pp in a quarter.

Why net margin only at marketplace and month level?
Ads and overhead are attributable per campaign + per marketplace, but pushing them down to a single category, tag or ASIN means inventing an allocation rule that's wrong as often as it's right. Below those two cuts we show gross profit (revenue − COGS − fees − returns) — honest math, no make-believe.
How is this different from Helium 10 or SellerBoard?
Sellerbud's profitability is reconciled against the actual Amazon settlement — not estimated from fee schedules. When the 14-day settlement closes, your numbers don't change. Other tools quietly re-estimate; we don't.
What if my COGS changes mid-month?
We're effective-date-aware. Orders placed before the change keep the old cost; orders after pick up the new one. No retroactive distortion.
Are state-level analytics available outside the US?
Yes for India (amazon.in) using the buyer's state from the shipping address. UK, EU and AU only expose region/country at the SP-API level — we surface what's available; the per-state UI grays out where the data isn't.
